Response to our first gig of the year at Martinstown Village Hall, (January 2016).
"A big thank you to you and all of the group for providing us with a great evening’s entertainment at the Valley Club’s Social Evening January 18th, following our fish and chip supper. I’ve had numerous comments from our members & guests saying how much they enjoyed the evening and how impressed they were with the performance by Dorset Wrecks especially with no musical accompaniment. Our local organist and choir leader Nigel commented that you could hear every word. I’ve been away for a few days so sorry for the delay in contacting you.
So many thanks to you all for coming out on a cold January night and your patience in waiting until we managed to get the hall organised after the cubs had left."
A lovely Hall and very nice people to sing for.

The Dorset Wrecks made their first grand performance at Castle View and brought the house down. They looked the part dressed in smocks and neckerchiefs. The Wrecks have been formed for two years and sang their hearts out with sea shanties and whaling songs. All introductions were narrated by musical director Nick Barren. Needless to say some slapstick comedy took place. The residents really enjoyed the evening and look forward to them visiting again next year.
